A few notes: I'm in Banso in the northwest mountains of Cameroon. I'm staying with Susan and kids while her husband is in the States for helicopter training.
Here is it respectful to call adults as Mami or Pa of their first child. So Susan should be Mami Caleb.
The majority of Cameroonians cook over open fires.
The orphanage we visited was not for children without parents, but for children whose parents could not afford to care for them as babies. When they are a few years old, the parents take them back.
Kelly's dad is a doctor at the hospital here.
Guava juice is really good.
It's hard to get clothes dry during rainy season.

Visiting you tonight (and causing yet another power outage) reminded me to look at your blog, and I'm glad I did. Great photos! (Including a shot of that lovely brown embroidered fabric you were describing...)
